At dti EXACT™, we provide CNC milling services that are a cut above our competitors. With a strict attention to detail and significant investment in precision tooling, we are able to complete fabrication projects that demand high accuracy cutting on a wide variety of materials. In the project highlighted here, we provided these advanced CNC machining services to an Olympia, WA based customer.

This customer, a laser cutting and drilling firm, contracted us to machine precise holding fixtures from 300 series Stainless Steel plate stock, to their exact design specifications. The ¾” thick steel plate material required CNC milling, drilling, and tapping processes holding tolerances of +- .001″. This project’s scope of work fit well within dti EXACT™’s machine capacity and expertise.

After the machining processes, dti EXACT™’s quality department confirmed that all features were within spec, using inspection tools to verify dimensions, and microscopes to ensure surface finish requirements. Our range of CNC machines and tooling allow us to take on a wide range of projects from small quantity to large production runs. dti EXACT’s experienced machinists and engineers allow us to adapt quickly to customer needs, turning around parts quickly; in this case, a start to finish time of 3 weeks.
